Our mission

TNE Consultancy has grown out of our experience writing and curating our publishing project, The New Ethnographer. As our blog is referenced on University curricula at universities around the world, TNE Consultancy now offers its services directly to Universities themselves.

A future-oriented project, The New Ethnographer now offers its services to Universities looking to refresh and adapt their approaches to training and supporting researchers. Our mission is to use our collective knowledge to implement change in institutions so they can better support researchers to conduct fieldwork safely for ourselves and for those we work with. 

We draw on our own expertise as well as that of our team of experts and contributing authors to support research-hosting institutions to provide better resources and training for pre-fieldwork researchers. We offer universities a range of services packaged to suit their current needs.
